Dear City Link

I’m not usually the kind of person to rant but I’ve been reduced to doing so because of City Link Cambridge.

 

I’ve just typed out the following to send to them in hope of a response after I was told that I wasn’t in when a delivery was attempted…

I have been in all day for a delivery, my room overlooks the street and my front drive where I am perfectly placed to see all and any people or persons coming towards the house to make a delivery, I saw no-one, not only that but your tracking system says that a card was left because there was nobody in, there was two people in the house and no card was left at all, no-one even came up the drive to attempt a delivery, none of your vehicles stopped anywhere on my street but somehow a delivery attempt was made? I don’t think so.

I am now having to make my way to your depot to collect this “delivery” which is going to be a 30 mile round trip because of your absolute failing to provide even the most basic of a delivery service. I am quite honestly appalled with it all, the deceit of your staff is something you should look into.
