We arrived and were probably the first people in as the restaurant was completely empty and impeccably clean, we were asked where we wanted to sit (always good when asked this) and we picked a table near the window.
Our waiter was an attractive and polite man who was attentive throughout our meal.
For a starter we chose a bread bucket, a small metal bucket with bread and balsamic reduction and olive oil to dip, really nice, the bread was still nice and warm and wasn’t over baked.
For my main meal I plumped for the Calzone Pollo Spinaci, I’d never had a calzone before so I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised, such a nice combination of flavours and textures, the chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy and tender!
We were too stuffed for dessert but managed to have enough room for a small cappuccino before heading out into the rain.
