It was Valentine’s Day yesterday and it was really nice to spend the day with my OH.
We started the day with Tom making American Style pancakes, stacked high and covered in Maple syrup.
After a letting breakfast go down we decided to make our way into Cambridge to shop and also for lunch, however EVERYWHERE we went was either fully booked or had a mile long queue consisting of groups of families!
After spending a lot of time looking for a place to eat we ended up at Teri-Aki, a favourite of ours but it wasn’t really where we’d planned to eat, we were hoping to be able to eat at the Cambridge Chop House, somewhere that has recently become one of our new favourite eateries!
When we got to Teri-Aki it was rather busy and we had to sit next to another couple, Tom didn’t really enjoy that!
We’ve had to share a lunch table with another couple. Awkward doesn’t begin to describe how this feels RN

It wasn’t that bad because as our food turned up they left! After lunch we walked towards the market square and then went to M&S to get steaks for our dinner, we plumped for rib-eye steaks as recommended by Tom’s mum.
Dinner was served with a bottle of Lanson Rosé
What did you do for Valentine’s Day?
